About Schafer Hockey Group
Founded in 2023, Schafer Hockey Group was built on a simple but powerful idea: every player and family deserves individualized guidance in an increasingly complex and competitive hockey world. Owner Patrick Schafer began his career in advising in 2016, gaining years of experience working closely with players and families before officially launching SHG as a boutique service centered on trust, transparency, and personal connection.

The hockey landscape is changing at a rapid pace. Opportunities are expanding, competition is intensifying, and the path forward is no longer one size fits all. Schafer Hockey Group exists to help families navigate that reality with clarity and confidence. We believe success comes from understanding each client’s unique goals, strengths, and circumstances, then building a plan that puts them in the best possible position to succeed.

Our boutique approach allows us to offer a truly personalized experience. We are intentional about the number of clients we work with so that every athlete receives our full attention, commitment, and care. From development guidance and exposure opportunities to education and long-term planning, we take an all-in approach to every relationship we build.

At SHG, we do more than advise. We support, educate, and advocate for our clients while creating meaningful opportunities that align with their ambitions. Our mission is to give players and families a competitive advantage by combining experience, honesty, and a deep understanding of the modern hockey landscape, all delivered through a service that feels personal, dedicated, and purpose-driven.
